The Warn 2000 DC Utility Winch has all of the features you want, and its small size allows it to be mounted in tight spots. Designed to pull lighter loads, this winch will help you move more material in less time. Equipped with a 1.6 horsepower permanent magnet DC motor with outstanding duty cycle, a durable, differential planetary gear train and 12-volt power for portability, the DC2000 Utility winch from Warn is ideal for use on trailers or hitch mounts. This compact utility winch also comes with 35 feet of 3/16" (10.7m of 4.7mm) wire rope with hook and clasp, corded remote and hawse fairlead.

So far so good

Pulled this beast up with ease not a sign of struggle very controlled pull and the remote has 8 to 10 feet which is nice. Overall satisfied and would recommend. Best $100 spent

Warn Winch

I mounted this item on my mower which I have used no less than 20 times to pull the mower out of the mud on my woods trails. The only bad thing about it is it is extremely noisy. It sounds like a coffee grinder but it does the job.
The zero turn mowers bog down much quicker than standard mowers. You can't rock them back and forth because of the front wheel action. It's cheap, it's noisy but it works. Trying to keep the cable wound up properly is almost a waste of time and it will get kinks no matter how careful you are.

The control switch crumbled and I installed a huge 3 phase directional control switch which works better because it has a large **** that you can activate with gloves. Since I have an extensive electronics background it was not a problem.

Open box was a great deal

I wanted a winch for my toy hauler after putting a harbor freight winch on my flat deck. The HF had a separate solenoid that doesn’t mount to the winch, so I wanted something easier to install.

This warn 4K was open box on and came complete with no signs of use. It bolted right to the warn portable winch plate 27007(?) with the included hardware (though the bolts seem a bit long).

The controller is a very simple affair with a stickyish rubber coating. The clutch disengage lever is on top and feels kinda cheap, but the rest of the winch looks and feels good.

I’m very happy with the setup compared to the other portable winch on the market.

Seems to be heavy enough to perform a variety of winching jobs

Tried out winching Polaris Ranger side by side up hill about twenty feet. Has plenty of power, but slower than expected. I would definitely recommend this winch over the cheaper brands.
