TruXedo Truck Bed Tonneau Cover TruXport 272401 | 2019-2024 Chevy Silverado & GMC Sierra w/ MultiPro/Flex tailgate

I really like the looks of this tonneau cover and the installation is pretty easy. My only complaint is that the seals on the forward end on the rails and the tonneau cover could be better. The foam seal on the rails leak and the forward seal on the cover won't let the corners lay flat over the foam seals so water gets in on even a light rain. Reached out to customer support and they were very helpful with this issue, they sent a new seal kit that was easy to replace but sadly it didn't help it still leaks.

Works ok

I am not very handy when it comes to DIY projects, but this was about as easy as it can be. The only thing I do not love is that you have to open the top in order to close the bed gate. Once you get used to it, it isn't that big of a deal though.

the install was super easy especially if you have one of those small impacts that Milwaukee and dewalt offer. overall install took me about 30 min. the only thing is that on my model truck the side rails will over over the inside of the bed by about 3/4 of an inch. making it try to be flush with the bed won’t allow it to latch. so a little bit of trial and error there. i have a drop in bed liner and didn’t need to add the extra weather stripping to the bulk head. it will be fairly tight when you install it but over time it will loosen up slightly. if you have the option on your truck to open the tailgate with your key fob, it will unlock but it won’t fall open. but it will unlock so all you have to do is pull it. that is my only complaint. but i rather have a complete seal than the luxury of an auto opening tail gate. its low profile and if you have water collecting on it, you didn’t install it correctly. i’ve installed this on multiple trucks and never had water pool.

overall this is a fairly affordable and effective bed cover that’s easy to install if you have a 1/2 socket and impact driver you can install this in under an hour. also this will help slightly with gas mileage since you are preventing drag from closing off the bed.

Had the same one on my Jeep Gladiator and now ordered for my Chevy Trail Boss. Fits great, lower profile and seems to retain both its fit and look. No fading on my last one at all. Liked so much ordered another one for my father-in-laws truck too. Just follow the instructions and it’s an easy install.
