Details

The Edelbrock Performer Square Bore Air Valve Secondary Manual Choke New Carburetor features a two-piece, all-aluminum construction for cooler operating temperatures and less warping. It is designed and calibrated for good street performance and fuel economy in 402 CID and larger engines with the Edelbrock Performer manifolds. There are no gaskets below the fuel bowl level for fewer leaks and no plastic parts or power valves to blow out.

The Performer manual choke carburetor includes both timed and full vacuum ports for ignition advance. The carburetors use easily changed metering rods for precise tuning. The Edelbrock Performer covers the replacement or repair of the product only and does not cover the cost of removal and installation.Bore Diameter :Primary Bore 1.44; Secondary Bore 1.69

Designed and calibrated for optimum street performance in small-block and some big-block engines. Match with a variety of manifolds that include Edelbrock Performer, Performer EPS, Performer RPM, RPM Air-Gap, Torker II and other brands of similar design. Includes both timed and full vacuum ports for ignition advance. Electric choke can be added if needed. Comes with: Metering Jets  Primary .100, Secondary .095; Metering Rods .070 x .047; Step-Up Spring orange (5" Hg). Use our Carb Studs if needed.

This is my best purchase ever. This has changed my life. I've had my car for 18 years and gone through 15 used carburetors and one brand new Holley. Purchased this to install on my vintage American p/u. I'm impressed by the fit and finish of the product, it looks really good sitting on the engine.
And it's Made in the USA. Engine started with no adjustments at all.

Made my 390 come to life!

Awesome!!! I put this on my 1965 Ford Galaxie with a 390. The motor is mildly built, bored, .495 comp cam, performance cast iron heads, performer 390 edelbrock intake,MSD ignition, shorty headers, and full 3 inch exhaust with flow masters. It should make good power, and it did just okay with a Holley 4150 I had on it. This Edelbrock carb made my motor come alive, it’s like a totally different car. Easy to install, and the tune right of the box worked so good I wouldn’t dare mess with it. Runs flawlessly with way more power and smoother than my Holley it replaced. The only adjustment I made was to tweak the idle **** just a little. I changed that only twice with minor adjustments to get it how I wanted it. You can not go wrong in buying this carb for probably any mildly built motor under 400 ci. It is not very often anymore I am this impressed with a product. You can not go wrong with this user friendly, made in The USA product. Thank you Edelbrock!
