I bought this for my Jeep and off-roading. The tires are 33 all terrains. I observed that the yellow hose material was quite flimsy as compared to other portable compressors. As an experiment, I filled two tires from 40 psi to 60 with a fill time of about two minutes. A third tire was filled from 15 to about 55 psi. The ambient temperature was about 95 degrees. At 55 psi the yellow hose melted and blew a hole through the side. This fill time was about 4.5 minutes. The pump generates a large amount of heat due to the high cfm. The hose melted but the built in thermal protection switch did not shut the pump off. The pump should be designed with a hose material that has a higher melting temperature than the temperature of the thermal switch. I requested a newer upgraded hose from the manufacturer or I will have to upgrade the hose to a better material.

I bought it for off road use and didn't want a tiny compressor or a over big one that I can't keep in the vehicle but already used it to help a friend put air in their spare on the side of the road and on my project car that I forgot to air up after a few months. So far, small, quick to connect and hook up to car battery as well as having a long hose to get fill up tires from the front to back.It filled a spare tire from 10 psi to 60psi in under a minute. A lot faster than cheap compressors and smaller than those jump box one and all compressor included products.Only downside is the way the valve screws on, you'll need to over inflate by a few pounds because as you unscrew the valve connector, it leaks air.

Works great mounted underneath the good of my 03 TacomaUpdate: my buddy has the single arb air compressor and we did a side by side filling a 33” tire from 12 lbs to 35lbs and after shutting them off at the same time the arb only had. 5 lbs more then my smitty but I paid 100 he paid 300 🤷🏻‍♂️ Worth it in my opinion. My Tacoma has 35” I just filled them all from 10-12 psi up to 35 psi in all 4 tires this thing is great 👍🏻

For what I need it for this is great. I have a 87 Suzuki samurai and the little rear lights just don't cut it. But I also have a tinted soft top. I could hardly see anything while backing up. But I got real tired of everyones trucks headlights beating into my cab as this rig is so little.Nothing comes with this light as far as harness wise. This is light with hardware and red and black leads. You figure out the rest with the help of the internet.I guess I wish it would had come with a swith is all.Other than again this works great on a aux switch for when I need it.

We used it in a real-life situation a few days ago after we did some air-down to 18psi prior to our trial run with our friend. Just before getting back home, we used it non-stop to tire up from 18 to about 40 psi on both of our Jeeps ( basically 8 tires with no breaks in between ), at about 3-4 minutes per tire we were done at about 30+ minutes for both Jeeps. As a lot of people pointed out, this compressor getting pretty hot after 15+ minutes of use to the point I was not comfortable placing it back to its bag with yellow cable metal compiling extremely hot ( I believe one person complaining about burning his yellow extension tubing probably accidentally touched plastic tube to the metal coupling itself - I just kept this yellow tube stretched at all time ). You can keep it open to the air after you are all done for 10-15 minutes or just simply place in your trunk while driving back home to let it cool down.Overall for 80$ shipped its extremely good value.
