Features

  • Part Number 33-187297. Pair with 24-186025 for complete functionality
  • You'll be getting two front and two rear shock absorbers (when paired with 24-186025). For vehicles with no suspension modifications or 2-2.5" front lift systems and 0-1" rear lift systems.
  • Designed for 4WD vehicles
  • All necessary washers, bushings, reservoir clamps, and nuts included. Factory shock mounting bolts are reused for installation. Mounting plates sold separately.

Details

Bilstein 5100 shocks utilize a monotube design, with a 46mm digressive piston, to increase road handling characteristics both on and off-road. The single tube body allows for rapid heat transfer between the shock oil to the shock body, and then dissipated further to reduce shock fade. German engineering combined with US manufacturing ensures optimum performance and longevity for upwards of 100k miles (real customer feedback!). The 5100 series is more compliant in tougher situations and off-road terrain compared to the 4600 series. Factory spec vehicles should use the 4600 series shocks as the valving is more appropriate for daily driven vehicles and pavement environments.

I did not think that the difference was going to be this great!! It took me about 1 hr to do all 4 shocks and that was only because I cleaned everything under the truck around that area. The way my truck feels now going over pot holes and bumps is amazing. I can’t believe the way it feels while riding on the freeway and everyday driving. Amazing product and would definitely recommend. The only thing that was weird to me was that the protective boot on a Ford is at the bottom. I guess I was just used to seeing it on the top portion. Other that that they are amazing.
