Features:

  • AMP running boards automatically deploy when the door opens. The electric step will close after a 3 second delay when the door closes. A 5 Year/60,000 Mile Warranty is included

Details: Amp Research is the originator of the electric running boards so you know they are done right. There are many special features that make these running boards the leader in the industry beginning with when they are not in use they tuck up under your truck body to give maximum ground clearance. Once retracted the boards are completely hidden from view but as soon as a door is opened the electric motor is engaged and the ample 6 wide step surface gracefully drops down giving you an easy way to enter and exit the vehicle because they sit lower than most fixed running boards on the market. These steps also offer an anti-pinch technology so if the boards feel any resistance while retracting they automatically drop so as not to pinch any arms or legs that might be in the way. Additionally there are LED lights incorporated that light up the step when the doors are opened lighting your way in and out of the truck. AMP made these steps completely out of aluminum and they support up to 600lbs of weight capacity. Finished in a textured black finish these aluminum steps will be protected for years to come. The electronics with the steps are weatherproof and can be used in rain or snow with no problem. All installation hardware is included in the box and can be installed with simple hand tools but having a lift does make it easier. Made in the USA with a 5 year/60,000 mile warranty.
