Details

Dee Zee Transfer Tanks - A safe and convenient means for transporting non-flammable liquids. Steel, protected by black NRT (No Rust Technology) rust inhibitor powder coat finish. Radius curve design eliminates key weld pressure points. Feature stability baffles, lockable cap, 3/8" drainage plug, and venting coupler. Tanks are intended for private use (non-commercial). Not designed for use as an auxiliary fuel system. Not for use with gasoline. Does not meet title 49 of the United Stated Federal Registry.

I read the reviews and questions before purchasing, trying to find a direct answer to these two questions; I never found it, so I ordered it with my fingers crossed.It's clearly stated on the label that they cleverly neglect to show in the pictures: Not for commercial use and is not DOT approved. It does work as intended, however, and seems to be built pretty well.

Took a star off for stupid shipping container tabs were as everyone complains about bent but the welds were pretty and having read the reviews I imediately, filled it up with water and tested it and it was fineSeems like very good quality and on the whole I’m very happy with it
