Flowmaster 817633 Outlaw Muffler Kit , Black

The inlet side came bent and damaged so that was disappointing but I have exhaust tools here so I was able to out it back in round with not much extra effort the sound is much better, does get a little droney but not bad, the quality for where the hangers go could be a bit better. Over all very happy with my purchase and even noticed increased fuel mileage as well with a better sounding truck.

Aggressive Sound!

Installed in a little over an hour... It would have been much quicker had I used a lift. The worst part was getting the old muffler off, but it wasn't too bad... Pro tip! Soak the old clamps down with an oil penetrator to make life easier... Also, I'd say it's worth it to drop the tips off the rear hangers to give yourself room to back the muffler off of the 3 inch pipe. I used a rubber mallet to knock it rearward, and it worked amazingly well. This exhaust sounds great!... there's no other way to describe it! It's unreal how much a difference just a muffler alone makes on a 5.7L Hemi. I recommend this kit, 10/10 from me! Personally I believe these mufflers should come on the Rams stock from the factory.

I hate this muffler! I used to drive my Ram 1500 like an old lady, getting great gas mileage. Now I’m dumping the throttle just so I can here that amazing exhaust note, so my mileage is suffering because of it. Seriously, my truck sounded like a Cadillac before, now it sounds like the 400 horsepower beast that it is. I was considering going with a $1400 Corsa system, but with this Flowmaster, I saved a grand, and couldn’t be happier. No, it doesn’t look as pretty as a Corsa, but my bet is that it sounds better. And who looks under the truck anyway?

If u r not mechanicly inclined dont put it on yourself. There r tricks of the trade to installing this. I was a technician for chrysler, jeep and dodge and have installed mopar systems. So very easy for me.
The muffler sounds great, this give the hemi a voice and its awesome. Better then that 50 gallon drum the factory has on. You miggt also want a cold air intake. If you r going to have more air come out you might want more air coming in. It did raise my mpg's by 4mpg with that combo.
