The best option for a 2020 F-150.

I recently bought a 2020 F-150 to replace my '07. Unfortunately, the bed extender offered by Ford for the 2020 blocks the on/off switch for the bed lights. I know, first world problems.
This was the best product I could find to meet my needs: a bed extender and to keep cargo from rolling around in the truck bed. However... I wasn't willing to drill into my truck bed, so I also purchased the no-drill kit. The kit arrived about a month after the bed extender (popular item?).
I finally had a day without rain or snow and assembled the bed extender and installed the no drill kit. The kit was confusing marking the parts as right and left. Apparently, right = passenger side. And the assembly was challenging. I could not get the left (driver's side) inner and outer bumpers to align. The first three pictures in this post show the gap. I am contacting the vendor and am optimistic for a solution.

Great Bed Extender for 2019 Ford F-150 Raptor

Great, simple and quality design. Light but sturdy. Solid construction. Instructions clear and easy to follow for your installation. USA company with great customer support. Great communication by phone and email. I called in with some questions and got a live, helpful individual with no problems. Highly recommended. Serves my purposes on my 2019 Ford F-150 Raptor. I love the ease of flipping it into the bed without having to take anything apart.

Who needs a long bed when you can extend?

2021 Tundra SR5 Crewmax
VERY pleased with this install, great directions to follow and videos online to help. Take your time and make sure you are lined up with the brackets, once you have those in place, it’s easy to align the bars and put the rest together. Be easy on the plastic pillar brackets when putting them together (it’s one of the last steps), don’t force anything that doesn’t feel right, once again, just make sure you’re aligned and hand tighten vs power tool.
